Our Site Superintendents are critical to the success of the project team and are directly responsible for the supervision, coordination, scheduling, and control of all field activities of subcontractors and suppliers. As a Site Superintendent, you will oversee project safety and quality control programs in the field, ensuring the project is constructed as specified and according to state and federal regulations. As a leader of the team, Superintendents are also responsible for assisting in the professional growth of team members and maintaining positive relationships with clients and ensuring complete satisfaction of the entire project.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for building, construction, and safety with experience in retail, corporate interiors, and restaurant projects, including renovation work in occupied and unoccupied locations. You must be willing to travel to be onsite for projects, including weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently deliver projects on time, on budget and exceed clients’ expectations. Ensure that all projects are completed by the highest standard.
• Attend pre-construction meetings with client, architect, and customer representatives. Develop comprehensive project strategy to execute scheduling, logistics and inspection milestones while meeting all rules and regulations. Identify and address issues of constructability or lack of scope.
• Minimize delays through collaborating with Project Manager at the onset of construction. Work with PM to review subcontractors’ scopes and schedules.
• Throughout the construction project, work in partnership with PM to maintain open communication and maintain an updated accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the project.
• Work professionally and fairly with all Image One subcontractors and vendors at all times. Assure quality control throughout the duration of the project.
• Responsible for and must be onsite for all building inspections.
• Oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, eliminate accidents and ensure a clean, safe, and secure work environment. Supervise subcontractors who are onsite, 100% of the time.
• Responsible for coordinating and scheduling of all subcontractor work, both owner-supplied as well as Image One subcontractors, ensuring speed, efficiency and quality.
• Proactively assess and change order of construction due to delays to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Provide accurate information documenting Daily Job Reports, Daily Safety Reports, 3-Week Look Ahead (weekly) and Incident/Accident Reports
• Maintain fiscal responsibility for labor and other miscellaneous expenses while proactively look for ways to streamline tasks during projects.
• Ensure rules and regulations are followed to minimize risks and develop a good relationship with all parties involved in the project.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires walking on rough/uneven, sometimes slippery terrain, frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris of varying and often awkward sizes, shapes, and weights, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping and climbing ladders on the job site to ensure quality workmanship is performed.
• Standing and walking for extended periods. Climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders repeatedly.
• Subject to all weather conditions including heat, cold and dust conditions, fumes and noise from construction equipment.
• Hand and finger dexterity required to operate keyboard, computer, phone, and fax. Must be able to view computer screen and use a mobile device.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel 100%; Extensive air and ground travel required including weekends

Required Experience:

• Commercial construction: 5 years
• Working with a GC: 5 years
• Retail construction: 5 years
• Traveling superintendent: 5 years
• OSHA 30
• Valid driver’s license

Required Education:

• High School or equivalent

Image One is seeking custom Sign Fabricators at our Bensalem, PA, facility. Candidates must have at least five years of solid experience in custom signage, as well as being self-motivated, quality driven, time conscious and possess the ability to work independently. Sign Fabricators will be required to lead others on larger projects and assist in other departments if necessary. Overtime may be needed but is not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and understanding industry standard shop drawings
• Operating mechanical sheet metal shears
• Operating CNC press brakes and folding machines
• Using cut off saws

Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of all hand and powered hand tools used in the sign industry
• MIG welding steel and aluminum
• Detail oriented with a focus on delivering high quality results
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to take on tasks with a high level of complexity
• Track record of taking initiative, producing quality work, and meeting tight deadlines
• Ability to complete and manage projects with minimal direction
• A mindset to continually improve

Required Experience/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent recommended
• Previous experience working in a factory is beneficial
• Experience operating manufacturing machinery
